This reminds me a lot that people need to come out to themselves as well as others. And everyone story is different. Everyone story is their own and no one can live that for them. Everyone comes to it at their own time and it's not ok to take that journey from them. I'm glad that he's out and proud now, that he can be himself. He's found someone he cares for and is happy with.

He looks EXACTLY like the guy I've been seeing for seven years. This guy is married and we've been having an affair. We're both forty-one and he has young kids and doesn't want to leave his wife until they're older. We met at a gym. Funny thing is that we both went to NYU but never ran into one another He's an investment banker and I'm a cardiothoracic surgeon. It's hard but I'm going to stick it out.
