Ok now this Max model i prefer, really has a sense of both consistency and interconnectiveness, like it looks like Max from the first game. Reason being was that model from MP2 looked nothing like Lakes model for Max, like when i look at him in MP2, that doesnt look like the dude i played as in the first game.

I just wish they had a version where it only gave you MP1 Max Payne and kept everything else in.

Just found out about this mod. It is looking great. I am playing Max Payne on Hard Boiled difficulty for the first time AND actually understanding the game as back in 2005 I did not know english :D

OMG thank you for this !!!!! Wow yeah it doesn't feel the same at all after the first one !!!! I was low-key salty when Max Payne 2 came out !

this makes sense. max payne 1 and 2 didn't have much time elapse so the models shouldn't have changed that much ( i mean i get it in max payne 2 game sam lake wasn't the one that was modeling because they could hire a actual model but still it just isn't the same without sam lake)

Everyone says this looks better, but I actually think the default look of Max Payne 2 fits the tone a lot more

I hope in the Max Payne remake, Max's model stays the same and doesn't change because according to the remake it's gonna be both MP 1 and 2 combined into 1 game

It might be marketed or sold as a "double pack" though. So at the main menu you might have to choose which game you want to play . If they did that then they might keep the original faces in both games. I've seen other game companies sell remasters or remakes in double pack, for instance Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2, or Silent Hill 2 and 3 HD remasters to name a couple.

James McCaffrey does the voice in all 3 Max Payne games.

@@brianpass1 he meant that the voicelines are not the same as vanilla max payne 2 , i think the mod uses max's voicelines from the first game

@@americangangster1911 Is there a mod like this for Max Payne 3 In development? This is one of those Weird instances where a Vidyagame sequel uses a Different Character model for the same character. Even Games like Syphon Filter or Metal Gear Solid tries to make the main character look the same.

@themaster1124 yes there are videos on KZbin of "old school" mods for Max Payne 3, but I haven't used them yet. Look up Max Payne 3 Sam Lake mod to find it.
