The reason why armor piercing is actually pretty useless: While it's impressive to the point where it practically fully ignores blocking (stat total of ignoring 98.99% of ur block if over 299 armor piercing), most players will just stop blocking or trying to parry once they realize that the enemy build will just do the same damage. Considering there is no reason to block, it'd be better to try and be hyper-aggressive on these builds rather than waste your time blocking the same damage that would've hit you if you were trying to attack. Since blocking gives you no benefits, just don't do it, and focus on dealing more DPS before THEY can kill you. Regeneration is a much better stat as it's less expensive to fit into your build AND it has some useful niche in glass-canon builds that can afford to waste some jewel sockets for defense and regen. The best regen set is a high drawback w/ high regen build as I've seen the max 150 regen getting 50 regen points, allowing you to pretty much have drawback 2-losses on a drawback 10-set which allows for so much more viability of the drawback gear.

Indeed, I think this would be good for vitality classes like Knight, you have more HP regen, drawbacks increasing defenses maliciously, and the Varachos amour set would ignore the vitality damage nerf by a bit

Just so everyone knows, AP was hard nerfed. Its effectiveness against parrying was reduced by 90%, and its damage boost against targets with defence was nerfed by 50%.

Piercing Build? The assassinations are going high because of Armor Piercing. Surprisingly, bypassing Block and Parry can be helpful in PVE. Now I want to test Armor Piercing Savant.

If you had max resistance like with ice boxing warlock. Then you block. Well, you basically take damage in 1 or 2 digits. [ 1 dmg to max like 20 damage. And if a spell gives resistance,im not sure about that but ye. You basically become unstoppable if you keep blocking. You can search it on yt. Max ap vs max resistance
