Hey Maximillian! One of the devs of Biorand here! Been watching your vod on twitch. Just wanna elaborate on the handgun. Any ammo you find you can also find a corresponding weapon for the ammo. You searched the log for Handgun but theres actually 4 different guns that use handgun ammo. 2 called "Handgun" that Leon and Claire (and Ada) use, but also the "Berretta" which we added as a pickup, normally used by Chris in battle mode. And also Claire's Colt S.A.A which she unlocks in the dark room locker. All guns are useable as any character with Biorand! So you probably had the Berretta or Colt drop :) hope that helps clear things up! Glad to see you enjoying Biorand :D!

I'm almost positive that one of the handguns was actually one of many blue herbs Max ended up not picking up. We know that when you interact with the blue herb on the ground it SAYS it's a blue herb, but he never tried TAKING THEM and seeing what they actually are. For all we know, the handgun was either in the sewer, or in the umbrella labs, as he skipped over I think 3 blue herbs without actually checking if they WERE blue herbs.

As someone who has played this for hours and watched it just as much aka Bawkbasoup and quite a few other RE streamers, I love seeing this get some more attention. Biorand is such a fantastic time, especially because it works for all 3 OG RE games, it gets quite ridiculous the more you tweak the randomizer and the dialogue can become hilariously awkward and fantastic. I hope you play RE1 and RE3 with Biorand Max, you will have such a good time.

@@2sallads Normally you start with the handgun in a normal playthrough so finding a lot of ammo for it is a good thing, but since the randomizer didn't start Max with it and he never found it during the run they all ended up being useless (and in spots behind enemies where the important items would normally be)

I'm guessing rather than swap out Leon's "Shot" model and "Bandaged" model mid scene, they just kept the bandaged model stored somewhere out of bounds as an NPC and switched it in at the appropriate time in the scene, likely also teleporting the player character (Who is still Shot Leon) out of bounds at the same time. As a result, as soon as Leon gets bandaged, "Bandaged Leon" gets swapped in. Of course, the mod replaced NPC models with others, so it looks like Leon suddenly morphs into Ben, and his voicelines are addressing Ben. Look at whenever the game transitions to playing as Ada, as soon as the room load screen is over the switch has already happened, evidenced by Leon being immediately replaced. I'd bet ya this game can't switch out characters mid-room, thus necessitating this roundabout solution, and why the cutscene IMMEDIATELY brings you up the ladder to swap out the player model during the room transition.
