A Max Raabe song you absolutely have to react to is his cover of Britney Spears' "Oops!... I Did It Again". His cover of that song is amazing.

The oldest student Band, Max Raabe and his Palast Orchester are still performing today. Not all where there from the beginning, but they founded in 1985, so they are very old. The drummer sadly passed away in 2017 with just 58 years old, you should react to "best of Vincent Riewe", it is on there youtube channel. You see cool moments with him and also cool songs.

Max Raabe is so stylish and yes, it's really "German". He is a "certified opera singer (baritone) and he sang the "Mackie Messer "(CD production Brecht / Weill). Yes, the other singer is Jonas Kaufmann. He is also a German opera singer (tenor).

The best known version of the song "Irgendwo auf der Welt" is from the Comedian Harmonists, the probably most famous German band in the late 1920s and early 30s. Great stuff for sure.

Speaking of 1920's German songs. Till Lindemann(Rammstein's lead vocalist) & David Garrett once did a cover of the song "Alle Tage Ist Kein Sonntag". Would be cool if you could react to that one as well.

👉 Max Raabe... I've been to his concerts a few times ... always an unforgettable experience. This style of singing (20-30 years) is his trademark. The other singer is Jonas Kaufmann (tenor), world famous German opera singer🌼🇩🇪

This is completely off topic, but big props for your pronounciation, especially words that are usually hard for Americans, like "Glück"

about that side jaw thing - everybody can try it out: it produces a unique "u" ... just gently sing the word "sound" while moving your jaw sideways during the "o - u" vowels (sing a long "a/o" and move your jaw - "u" comes automatically in a slightly different nuance). It does do the trick, but indeed it is "golden era" singing style. Max Raabe is like a living time capsule. Also this recordings are not from the 80's 90's ... they're contemporary. Like he's still touring. The video source is just potato quality.

Yep. Also important to know in this context is that Max Raabe always incorporates a certain amount of goofy showmanship behind this super reserved and classy facade. Maybe this is one example.

Please react to "Die Ärzte - "NOISE". Another great band from Germany, that reaction channels have been sleeping on. It's the first single from their most recent Album "Dunkel"(Dark).
