When I was next to one of the pawns I summoned, I went idle for a short while and while I was standing there, I look at the TV for a brief moment to see the pawn I'm standing next to my character waving her hand up and down in front of my characters eyes, almost as if she were checking to see if the player was still playing. As much as I've loved Dragon's Dogma for it's combat ever since it first came out, I dearly dearly wish they step up the presentation, the world, and the storytelling this time around. It was clearly an experimental game that had a lot of really great ideas, but it failed so hard on executing most of them and it felt like a very rough and unpolished gem. Imagine DD2 being a game with its unique combat system and an actual cool world for all the amazing monster designs to live in. I bet that would seriously bring DD from a cult classic into a mainstream classic, like elden ring did with dark souls.

It really sucks max didn't fully finish dark arisen. That content was satisfyingly tough, and it didnt help when the grim reaper would randomly show up and attack you. I grinded enough I hit the level cap which is 200 but you'll get the infinite symbol when you hit lvl200.

It's about damn time! One of the best Dark Fantasy RPGs I've played, outside of the Dark Souls franchise. I was always sad that they never made a sequel, and then they made an MMO that never got ported over to the West. Then that spiritual successor got announced about a year ago, so there was that to look forward to, but still not Dragon's Dogma. So glad we FINALLY got a sequel in the works! Probably the best news out of all the developer showcases, thus far, to me at least.

I love both FF and DD, but this stream was a lot more entertaining to me. Crisis Core remake is dope, FF7 Rebirth, also dope. But I really enjoyed Itsuno talking about how DD came to be. And while there was nothing to show, that DD2 reveal at the end was the cherry on top. I don't know, it felt a lot more personal. I know there's plenty of people at square who are pouring their hearts out on FF7R, but they didn't really show any of that. It was very announcement focused. You can really tell how much passion Itsuno feels for DD from this video. I enjoy that stuff a lot.

It would’ve been better if he was wearing a Dragons Dogma 1 shirt and then ripped it in half to reveal a Dragons Dogma 2 tattoo

the game was underrated cus it made a complete 180 from being a walking sim, Dark Arisen fixed and introduced accesible port crystals/ferry crystals.

I tried watching this on your stream but every 5 minutes I would get literally 9 ads, and it eventually became unbearable to stay. However, I'm glad you uploaded the reaction, even if the ending was a shirt reveal

I was 90% sure DD2 was happening since DMC5 and 99.9% when the anime came out, so glad to have confirmation though.
