The sudden undressing you see when Slayer performs the charged Mach Punch is because ArcSys had the initial concept for Slayer punching so fast his clothes can’t keep up, which is cartoonish and didn’t make it for the finished design in XX However, they came back to realize that idea in Slayer’s GG Strive incarnation

Slayer getting younger was also an unused concept from Xrd - presumably the counterhit glow implemented in Rev2 was supposed to be carry over that idea sans visual changes.

Our favorite dandy vampire is back. Overall this was a great season, fan favs coming back with sick redesigns and banger themes. Definitely gonna listening to Slayer's theme on repeat when the full song comes out. I'm hoping we get some crazy character like Zappa next season.

This season was literally almost my _exact_ picks that I wanted, lmfao. My pipe dream was (in no particular order) Johnny, Dizzy, Elphelt, and Slayer. I would've been happy with one, but this is so much more than I expected that I almost feel a weird sense of guilt for people who wanted other characters, even though it obviously wasn't my fault. (Although it was awesome to see all the people who wanted A.B.A. back popping off, even though I personally don't really care for her.) If Dizzy comes early in the next season, I will be subsequently suing ArcSys for bugging my house, XD

Potential characters, if we do exclude people like Venom and Zappa who story-mode says have found happiness away from fighting (and even lost the ghosts in Zappa's case), would be Answer, Jam, Dizzy, Kum Haehyun, Raven... possibly Fanny, if they really wanna dig in the archives? Robo-Ky if he's more than just a head now? Order-Sol if we do time-travel again?
