Max's Great Big Adventure

Max finally getting to enjoy the outdoors.
I do not suggest this with all birds since he wasn't on a harness (he wont wear one)
The screen around the gazebo will also have to be secured more but I wanted to try it with him before the storms came. Always remember to know how uour bird will react before trying anything with them. Just because it works for Max doesn't mean it will work for other birds.

When he attempted to run he sure listened when daddy said stop. Good boy Max! He was so quiet and calm.

One thing I love about Max videos (besides Max himself!) is how responsible of a pet owner Dan is. He warns in the description that just because you see Max being okay with this doesn't mean all birds will and to take proper precautions. In a Q&A video he mentions to do tons of research before even thinking of getting a bird, how it's a massive responsibility, and to look into adopting not buying from a breeder. There's a level of care there that goes beyond just what's "necessary". I think it's easy for people to watch animal videos and think "that looks fun I want one" and to make irresponsible decisions that mostly end badly for the animals. It means a lot to see someone who not only puts his own bird-buddy's best interests first, but also the birds of those who may be watching!

Max was really enjoying the outside. He "wanted" to be adventurous. Glad there was a screen around the enclosure. He understood your rules and obeyed them, Daddy Dan. I have two of them, so I know how much Max loves you! But a chickenwire area would be better! Some bushes in there too and a hollow tree trunk, a swing and a walkway around it with tree branches that double up for chewing. Then all you need is a cat door, so he can go out there by himself, when ever he wants too. Although having you in there with him is deluxe for him. Love you both!

Maybe you can punch holes in the edges of the tent bottoms every 6 inches and stake them down. That way they won't move or flat up, possibly scaring him. It would be more secure for him by keeping him in and outside varmints out. Max is such a doll! Happy Monday to you both!
