No, seriously, when she invited all the old Max's regulars onstage I thought, this won't end well, as I pictured getting trampled by the stampede of everybody in the place getting onstage while my toes were cramping from standing in that crowd for hours. How did I miss this! I was playing in the Map Room upstairs. I would always say hi and chat with Jayne for a minute. The greatest thing about the Max's/Punk scene was the originality. If you were being your true self, you belonged. Fakes and wannabe's could be spotted a mile away.
