Note: It wasn't Miles Copeland who told me to bring Jayne to London in '77. It was Leee Black Childers.

"I don't fit in anywhere". That is a REAL human spirit. Brilliant to listen to this special person. Sadly so many are shit scared to speak the truth. Me too.

I have read hundreds of music based biographies and without doubt, Jayne's 'Man Enough To Be A Woman', is easily my favourite. It's interesting, historical, touching and very funny indeed. I'd be extremely surprised if I ever read a music biography that I prefer. Jayne's one of those brilliant individuals who has been hugely influential for her art and just for how she's lived her life. It doesn't make sense how a person of such importance has struggled most of their life just to get by. She broke boundaries that allowed others greater freedom and success, she has affected mainstream popular culture yet is little known amongst the general public. I hope she receives the respect she deserves within her lifetime.

Wow. Didn’t expect such an honest sincere interview. She experienced what a lot of us had to go through. Kudos to her for being her true self.

My very first vinyl purchase as a 15 yr old in the 70s was the Wayne County & the Electric Chairs EP...Pa-Ra-Noia Pa-Raaa-Dise! Not to mention the Max's Kansas City LP and the appearance in 'Jubilee'...Saw them live at the Factory back in the day too...fun times!

Such a great interview. Jayne is an icon. She has such a great knowledge about music. Jayne is a no bullshit type of girl and tells it like it is. Loved hearing about Polystyrene. She should have a series of interview as there are so many stories we never heard before. She's the real deal. Respect. xoxoxoxoxoxxoxo

What a b*tchy thing to do to drop Jayne from Main Man like that. No house, no income, no nothing, and on top of that they stole some great ideas.. But I'm glad s/he came back with these great albums, my friend got lots of the Safari LP's, still in very good shape. Luv them! ;)

The Christmas tree does have Pagan origins, but not from Babylon. It’s from Norse Paganism, brought to the USA by Germans.
@noname-yt7uf3 жыл бұрын
The Christmas tree was not a sign of nimrod marrying his mother is was a Germanic symbol of christmas. It was adopted as a symbol of xmas when Prince Albert (wife of Queen Victoria) brought it to the Royal palaces of the UK. It has nothing to do with Nimrod. God American ignorance is not a stereotype, its real.

Wayne needs her her own documentary or series since gay and trans is huge in the mainstream would be a breathe of fresh air to get the real raw deal not this bubble gum fake stuff
