Some things get outdated like the old phones, the abusive almighty chief able to kill somebody and convincing the police it wasn't him (how unrealistic is that, at least nowadays) and the submissive character of women that was still a thing in the early 90s. But you're right, putting it in context, this movie rocks!

Michelle nailed all three personalities of the character. Selina before being Catwoman, Selina not in costume, and Catwoman. Anne was just okay in the role and she never became Catwoman like Michelle did.

Two very different versions of Catwoman. Anne’s version is a burglar who dressed up as a cat to steal things, she has no traumatic experiences, she’s just a smart criminal.

Just maybe her and Bruce Wayne would not have showed an interest in each, at least not a lasting one, if it not happened. And like in many traumatic events, there's usually a asshole catalyst responsible.

I think the awnings she fell through cushioned her fall. So by the time she landed on the ground she was only unconscious and the kittens helped her regain consciousness by licking and chewing on her fingertips.

Shreck had a plan to build a sizable "power plant" for Gotham City, but in fact it was a device for stealing power from the city so he could hoard it/sell it back to the citizens at outrageous prices, & Selina found all this out by sneaking into the protected files, so he bumped her off so she wouldn't squeal to the authorities.
