Splash radius is my favorite (and one of the best) upgrades in the game. You cannot convince me otherwise.

That thumbnail is exactly what I thought of when I had Max Splash Radius. I was doing a Splatling un and I felt like I was hucking Spirit bombs left and right.

I did this with blaster. The portals basically destroyed themselves and stamper throw was insane (I also had almost or exact max splash dmg so ye it went crazy)

A potentially-comprehensive list of everything affected by blast damage and blast radius: blaster indirects, tri-stringer indirects, all bomb sub weapons used by you (splat, burst, suction, fizzy, curling bomb and ink mine), all bombs used by pearl (which is all of her attacks except for killer wail), splashdown, reefslider, crab tank, trizooka, booyah bomb, inkstrikes (both yours and pearl's), lucky bombs from lucky chains, balloon fish explosions, portal explosions, the explosion from using a spiccato's spring, the explosion from shooting down a trionfale's bomb, and finally the explosion from destroying all of accordo's missle pods. Honestly it's almost easier to list the things that _aren't_ considered splash damage

splash radius would still be broken even if it only affected the portals literally all you need to do in portal levels when you have max blast radius is shoot the middle portal and it destroys the rest of them

The funny thing is, if you do a Luna Blaster run with a crap ton of chips that increase firing speed, YOU GET AN ULTIMATE DESTRUCTION DEVICE.

My first Blaster run ever i got Max Splash Radius, Max Fire Rate and Max Splash damage (which is one of the ones that needs 10 copies). At first I was really confused why enemies far away from me were dying and how after only popping 1 portal in a multi portal map I had already won. Then I realized just how much stuff in this game counts as splash damage. Most Subs, Splash Down, Exploding Enemies, Lucky Bombs, Popping portals and of course the Blaster Main. I'm pretty sure that "Spash" bonuses affect more things than any other type.

here'a a new idea. machine gun luna blaster. I have a video of it on my tiktok page with max splash radius, piercing, and max splash damage and it literally hits SO hard. had no ink saver and only had one or two ink recovery's but its just so fun lmao.
