Wow .. Max walked into the carrier on his own and didn't even yell at the vet during the nail clipping, now that is a change. Obviously our sweet Max still finds the whole thing not to his liking, and lets us all know about it, but he has definitely come a long way in dealing with it, he doesn't let it upset him as much as in the past, Bravo Max !! I did notice he had a few new things to say about it all towards the end of the video that were definitely comical 😁😁 Love you Sweetie !! 🧡🧡🧡🧡

I totally agree, Debbie. Our Max has resigned himself to the idea that he will be going in that carrier, one way or another. He let Dad know how he felt but, he handled the whole situation wonderfully, almost like it was his idea. @@rhondaz356 Yes, Rhonda, our dear boy is growing up, handling things more like an adult birdie, swearing and all, lol .. I noticed this time, after he got home and did tell Dan what he thought about it all, he did it more conversationally, like adult to adult. Remember a few years ago when he would sometimes hide in the closet before going? Not this time, he simply gave his opinion then dealt with it. He is definitely maturing, and still so very adorable. That just proves how bright our Max is. He wasn't going to go to the vet's without voicing his feelings and letting out his frustration. However, he *KNEW* how the carrier encounter was going to end. Therefore, he walked into the carrier on his own steam, a big boy, an in - charge birdy.👏👏 Thank you, Dad Dan for giving us a rundown on the visit and letting us see our brave boy for ourselves... Of course, our Max wasn't going to let you off the hook completely, at 7:48.😱 That's our adorable, opinionated, little rascal. 💘🤠💖🌈🌞

Also, I really do believe he is smart enough to realize that no matter what... he always ends up in the carrier! So, protest some but make it appear like he's in charge. I just love hearing conversations between Dan and Max, they can be extremely entertaining like the one in the beginning, Mac was riled up and hollering, raising his head feathers and wings and abruptly bopping about, he got so animated he lost a feather or two😳 When Dan said it was time for a car ride to get a pedicure Max immediately went under his cage, Max was like, “hey pops if you want me climb under here and get me”, priceless😂😂😂 I’m happy to hear Max had a good car ride and vet visit, maybe he will be able to accompany Dan out shopping etc. Great vid, I enjoyed this very much, hearing Max speak like a CB radio is awesome, I just wish I understood him better but it’s always obvious whether he’s a happy bird or an angry bird.
