The year of this interview has to be wrong since he talked about playing Giants Stadium. That happened in '85.

I'm surprised he didn't mention Johnny " The Bee'" Badanjak. Bee is pictured on the cover of Max's book "The Big Beat." He was in the original Detroit Wheels. The Wheels were so successful in the late sixties The Who, Cream, and others opened up for them.. Bee hasn't worked with Mitch Ryder for years, but along with Jim McCarty they were one of the best rock and roll bands around.
