Asterisk needed. He did it in a league that defense no longer exists in. I'd like to see Mitchell do this against a great defensive team like the 2004 pistons. It just wouldn't happen there simply wouldn't of been enuff possessions in the game. Try scoring 70+ points in a game that your team is getting around only 90 possessions in.

The 2004-2006 Detroit Pistons gave up less than 70 points in a game roughly 30 times regular season and playoffs combined. They could shut down the other teams best offensive player in their sleep. How would 1 player score 70 points in 4 quarters if that players team was getting less than 100 possessions in a single game? It's not possible it's just not.
