We spent a few days in Sandakan and also noticed that there weren’t many foreign tourist around town. It’s a shame because it’s beautiful and the people were so friendly 🫶

#. Kinabatangan is the longest river in Sabah but the second longest in Malaysia. The longest river is in Sarawak another Malaysian region in Borneo.

@Max and Jacqueline not many people saw elephants. The last vlog I saw was by food vlogger and Canadian Luke Martin. That was like months ago. Even British Adam Radcliffe could not see them due to the rain. I would say your trip was a success despite the rain. Cheer up. You saw all except maybe hornbills. Orangutan , proboscis, elephants, crocodiles. In Africa the safari is on land, here on water.
