😅 Don't be afraid it's a lot of fun and such a unique experience. Basically when you want to 'break' flex your feet and dig your heels into the ground, if you want to go faster then the soles of your feet should be flat to the ground, kinda brushing along the top of the loose rocks. It will probably make more sense once you get there and see the guide doing it in person. Have fun!
