I can't tell you how many campaigns I have won off the backs of small, fast cav units. Anytime you are fighting the USA or USSR, they do an excellent job grabbing victory points while your main divisions break the enemy.

The start of this reminds me of an old MP game my buddy and I played back in the day. I was USSR and he was Germany. And we basiclly focused 100% on the spanish covil war. Gave all our equipment. Had like, 10 volunteer divisions each. Which is nuts in itsself. And yeah we made it last until 1940 when he finally decided it was Barbarossa time and we switched focus back to the actual game. But it was still raging in 1940 becauae we gave so much equipment. Im suprised there were any spanairds left

hard to get naval xp :D Horthy was a Habsburg moron. Imgine what quality of general could be someone in the navy of the habsburgs? :D no doubt the allied choosed him as he was weak by personality. BUT you have to kill him to get the red army focus +5% more manpower so you can increase speical forces, that means comunism and +500 Manpower spirit. So you can make red hussars to spam Horthy Marines :D

When you have an army selected, there's a button, 3rd from the left, called Cohesion. Setting your army to Rigid or Balanced cohesion has the best effect when trying to keep the frontline order from spreading out too far. *Won't completely fix the issue* but in my experience, it helps when letting the frontline just go

I've played with it. Loose has too much movement and strict can cause gaps to appear. So 99% of the time I'm using balanced. BTW I've not tested this in agesss

i was gazing at the mountains of Italy and thinking to myself. why isn't he training a crack squad of 8 mountaineers to support his 12 marines, to have terrain supremacy in more places. he literally bought the doctorines for them. he just needs to pull off his horse trick to have an optimised army for most applications. i presume Majors can pay for rangers and desert rats and Paras and snowpatrol but honestly its usually mountains and Rivers that grind armies to a halt. so a mix of the two, with an emphasis on marines for landings is probably ideal.

I think one of the best uses for the energy overcharge vs terran is to get a fast templar archive. If you see a raven push coming you can warp in 1 high templar and boost it, so you can feedback all the ravens with it immediately, and then engage defensively with the colossus instead of them being walking paperweights.

from doing research into it a few years ago, I was under the understanding it was because the guy who named it called in aluminium, then for literally no reason whatsoever changed to to aluminum, no one agreed with it so it went back to aluminium again but the US decided not to fix it for reasons I also don't understand. 500 base soft attack Mountaineers. 140 breakthrough and 580 defense plus 96 hard attack and 41 anti air attack. 11 Mountaineers 2 rocket arty 1 anti tank 1 anti air Engineer company Rangers Field hospital Support artillery Support rocket artillery Maxed superior firepower doctrine right right Maxed mountaineer doctrine right right right These stats are the stats you would have with everything researched too but it would still be really high without fully researching the tree. You also have a super high amount of terrain bonuses and like 45% higher attack on mountains specifically. Because of the country bonuses (Bulgaria specifically rn) like military staff and the mountaineer and marine special forces attack buffs I can very easily get over 1000 soft attack often. This would be easier to do earlier and would probably work better on japan because of the way bigger industry and army xp you get from the china war. Because of the anti tank and anti air hard attack the division can push pretty much any AI tank division and obviously with the soft attack it can push any inf. For multiplayer the change so it would be better against tanks would be 11 mountaineers (the same) 4 anti tank 1 rocket arty 1 anti air. The soft attack is still really high but the hard attack should make it able to push player made tanks (maybe idk I don't play multiplayer) I just wanted to share this cus I thought it was good idk if anyone could use it. BTW I said japan specifically cus you would have some time to build up some of these mountaineers while your preparing for war with the allies and they would be really useful in India plus if you switched the mountaineers out with marines you could invade pretty much anywhere with naval supremacy.

Marines are special for supply grace, you want to max it with grand battle plan and air force spec.force grace. Expeditionary Task Forces 24 h Strategic Air Lift Corps 24 h Tip of the Spear 24 h & -10 consuption or planning bonus (or Pocket Defense 48h -20 consuption or manpower) Invader 240 h Technicaly, you can achive 300h easly which is almost 2 weeks of pure pushing before start to consume. Easy push bewteen supply hubs. (Thats the new "out of supply") Blowtorch and Corkscrew makes you able to overstack arty on marines without severly fall back on organisation. Also as long it is considered a marine divison, the arty extra supply consumption starts after 2 weeks of fighting ;) (If you go with rangers the arty dmg is even stronger) So go superior fire power, marines+rangers and invader you get 14 days of pushing. THATS SUPER MARINE

The special forces bonuses are proportional based on how much of the division is special forces. My division will get 100% of the special forces bonus. If I add artillery I'll be reducing those bonuses at the cost of extra supply. It's not worth the trade-off. This is the MOST cost effective

Mexican participation in the WW2 Electric booogaloo was more present in the civil sector rather than in the military. Many mexican males when to the US by a program called Programa Bracero. The point of that progam was a control of migration to the US and safeguard the integrity and health of the mexican workers. It wasnt the best, have important flaws, but it was better than the ilegal migration. Thats because the mexican goverment could call the US goverment about abuse and the dangers that workers were exposed to. Those workers usually are called Braceros and they were men who worked in the fields. I'm not that sure if they when to the factories too. The militar participation of Mexico went to the pacific, but quite late in the war. The Mexican Expeditionary Force was only an airwing, all the staff was mexican and they flew in CAS support in the majestic P-47-D30-RA. They performance was excelent and they gain fame because how perfom the CAS mission, with very low altitude and making a lot of strafing. There is a book writted by an mexican officer about them, it was an observer of the war. You actually made an almost full historical Mexico in this playthrough. Exile Calles was a move made by the president Cardenas because he knew if Calles still in the mexican politic he never could have real power. Calles already have 4 puppet presidents, or in years from 1924 until 1934 and the period was called Maximato, because he got the motto: Jefe Maximo of Revolution. It was a good move for the progress of Mexico because the caudillos still have a lot of power with their own prived armies. About the Cristiada, it was a move fueled by the fear of catolics and the fear who was Calles. Calles have an anti-church sentiment and some catolics belive that he would ban the church and make it ilegal. But was a rural movement, like the revolution, and the mexican church didnt support this movement, the cristeros have priest and fathers but they were look more like renegades. They got crush because nobody want to help them and even some common folk got scared of them. The last big caudillo, or general, of the cristeros was General Cedillo, who tried to kill president Lazaro Cardenas but fail and got arrested and killed. With the spanish civil war again you hit on the target, Cardenas help the left spanish and send ships for get out refugues, man, women and little timmys. Some consider it's 1936 with the invasion of ethiopia, some 1937 with the sino Japanese war, some 1939 with Germany's invasion of Poland,... Depending where you live and how your country took part of it. WW2 is more an umbrella word that englobe other more local conflicts that you can put in or out. You can see it like Korean war and Vietnam War, you rarely count the losses together despite both being considered part of the same conflict : cold war
