Vetiver is my favorite! TDH EIV, Encre Noire, Sultan Vetiver, TF GV, Dior ESP are some of my favorite vetiver Fragrances. Great Video as always! Forgot to mention. If possible get Ruh Khus no 1 from India. It's Attar and one of the best Vetiver Oil I found.

My first experience with vetiver note was with my father's perfume: Vetiver by Carven. Since then, I have always tried to get the vetiver note in my perfumes. It's my favorite note, elegant, versarile, woody, mysterious... I love it!! Encrenoir Sport by Lalique and Vetiver Intense, Hermes, are my favorite. I prefer the clean and light vetiver smells.

A wonderful list here, including some that I need to get my nose on! Vetiver is my favorite note, and I've owned and smelled many over the years, but so far I can't find any that I prefer over Roja Vetiver Parfum. Not the Parfum Colgone nor the Extrait (which both have great facets); the Parfum is perfection to me.

though originaly it is marketed as a female scent , Chanel No 19 (both EDP and EDT) is one of the best one if you are upto some classy. No woman wear it anymore and it is the nicest adrogun scent (not in the "neurtal unsexy way but rather a cigarete smoke after sex in a French new -wave movie from the 60's 70's sense of the word) . The male scents of the last decade are more syrupy and sweet then this one. If you are upto something that is marketed for mEn The new Guerlain Parfum version is better that I had expected and no matter how old it is the EDP version of Sycomore is such a nice one (I like Encre Noire but it is not that same as it is trendy to say on these days). PP or EDt or even Intense Vetiv. versions of TdH are good ones .

I am having an authentic indian vetiver oil, amazing aroma. Thats the reason i can't appreciate any vetiver frag in market, for me all are mediocre.

Cipresso di Toscana by Acqua di Parma is an amazing vetiver fragrance. I think its a good entry level fragrance for vetiver.
