College Percussion Major here! The Triangle is not as easy as it seems. The rhythms may be the simplest of all the instruments you may find on a concert stage, but when you add in techniques and the common theme of 200+ bars of rest(I've personally rested 13 minutes to play 2 notes at max volume as a solo on crash cymbals!) It can get stressful quickly. Props to Max for accomplishing this without a hitch.

As a percussionist, i can confidently say that playing the triangle and playing the triangle professionally are two very different things. There are so many different instruments in the world of percussion, and so many people hear the tiny sounds like this in a piece of music and take it for granted, or shrug it off as the easy part.
