Once I started painting with them I was amazed at how much more I could do with the stencils than I could with my limited skills in hand painting, These classes are approximately an hour long each, they cover so much more than just stencil basics. We will go into combining colors, how to select colors, that fit your personal aesthetic ,composition, blending, highlights, and shadows ,texture, and how to translate what is learned in class onto bigger projects, like furniture, and the refrigerator that I painted.. Somebody might want the boxes to fill the bottom layer of their raised garden beds and others just garden on the cardboard itself. I used it to kill the grass in an area where I wanted to make a flower bed. The little desk was so pretty.

I know you are the paint guru but I learned if you take 1/3 cup of DIY paint (which I just bought a ton of) and add 2 tsp of bentonite clay then wait just a few minutes for the clay to absorb the moisture in the paint it it fantastic to work in texture and distress. I did this on a crummy but sturdy pine coffee table yesterday in Apothecary, 1/2 sanded it back leaving some of the old finish too. Then I finished it with a very dark almost black poly stain and varnish in one product. That coffee table was ready for the dumpster but now its such a great item. Would fit nicely in a Southwest vibe or any decor where primitives work. Love love your channel, your talents and your products! 🥰. This was my first attempt at using your DIY chalk paints. I bet I could get several hundreds for this table easily.

I had 'old' grandparents although they were dear to me. I also envy your warm CA weather! We are having 3 degree and lower weather here in Kansas City BRRRR!!
