When showing off the costs, I should say always always always use more trials, even if it takes longer to load, 1 million trials based on the law of large numbers will be a much more accurate representation of the data than 1,000 trials. There will be a lot less overall variance in terms of the sample size, so long term you will get way more accurate results MathBro's model uses a markov chain because the math itself to get exact results is a very complicated mathematical model, so to mitigate that, a markov chain will estimate the model, and the more trials the closer to the same results you'll get. At the same time you dont need to run 1 billion trials because as you run more trials there is a diminishing increase in terms of accuracy but takes much less run time to do if you do less trials. So that is the trade-off. 1 million trials is perfect as it takes a minute or two to load, if you run it again with the same amount of trials you will get pretty much the same numbers in the results (To sum it up, there is a far much more likely chance of rolling 400,000-600,000 heads in a coin toss of 1 million trials (basically almost nearly 100% chance) than rollings 4-6 heads with only 10 trials (which is only about a 65% chance))

1 of the main factor for 21 is that you can get twice as many pieces to 21 than you would get at 22.....10 pieces at 21 > 5 pieces at 22.....huge power difference be settling for 1 star lower while simultaneously powering up everything

my first 20 to 21 is CRA pant and you know what it booms on the first try lmao since then I've been settled on 20 stars on all of my gears and my long-term plan is bring all of my equipment to 20 stars before tapping them all to 21, then 22 I don't have many resources and my cp is not very high (I am barely able to solo HLoDa) so I can't boom 1 single piece or else I can't solo them anymore

After watching your video before Ssf event I could rethink the items priority due to lack of time to get enough mesos after the first Ssf event. However, I managed to gain 6 items 22* with 14B. Thebest part Weapon hit 22* on the first attempt, my hat at the 3 attempt the rest between 10 and 15, (with maybe 1 item taking 20 attempts). Plus, only pants bumped 3 times xD. Btw I have to say this is my second event, started play again in August after 10 years away.

I managed to get 21 star sub gollux ring by transferring it form a 22 star kanna ring (still have like 10 spares), and managed to get my secondary to 21 stars (i play Dual Blade). As i am a very conservative player, i have stopped at 21 stars for all my items, what are your thoughts on keeping the 21's, and building a second new item to try to push for 22 stars instead of risking a boom on my current gear?

It's crazy that I am giga unlucky and I really don't fit the criteria you're putting forward. I only SF on Events, I only go for tier ups on events, I am very careful with my gear and don't follow the stupid mantra of "22 or trace". I only do things when I have back ups, when I have enough meso for what the SF or Cube calculator says the high end outliers will be, and I have quite literally beaten those curves by a lot. MathBro's Cubing Calculator says 2 Line Drop is 95% Chance with 56,846,700,000 meso and I spent over 85b and I never saw two line drop. I didn't even see 2 Line hybrid. Spent over 150b on CRA gear, carefully using the roulette method to get to 22*. If you look, it's about 35b a piece. So like yeah, there are genuinely giga unlucky people, I'm one of them, but I stay grinding and hopeful that one day, I'll hit the curve and I'll be so unbelievably lucky that it balances out if you put it on a chart. This isn't copium, I swear.

Update: took mules don't struggle to the max, got An eye patch drop on a Shadower mule, it 22*d right away, then when I used a unique scroll on it, it literally revealed 10/10/7 LUK. While not my main, this was undeniably super lucky. I can't complain anymore.

I'd rather hope nexon takes the suggestion someone made that starforce should have an option that ensures a 100 percent chance of upgrading your equipment, but at 7-10 times the original starforce cost up to 20 stars. I believe ms2 did something similar to that.

Tap CRA to 20 one piece at time, for Gollux, if you don't have coins for spares, you could tap a lvl 140 gear to 21 then transfer to sup Gollux and settle at 20

With that many spares, yeah you should be fine to not guard for 21s (imo you should guard anyways and just go for 22s with that many spares, the meso is worth less than the arcane dupes)

"22 or trace" culture is like a streamer virus. It's fun to watch someone boom or hit 22s on stream but this has probably ruined a lot of new player progression. The "22 or trace" peer pressure from the community has lowkey probably caused more players to quit because they don't end up hitting. It's not the streamer's fault because they're probably at a point in their progression where it really is 22 or trace, but like Duky says so many baby viewers nowhere near that level of progression are probably griefing themselves trying to copy them.

From my experience, it is very enough. But still your luck might run out. 21 cra is about 5bil a piece. You even might get it on multiple characters. Good luck

Statistically, you have enough money (I'm assuming spares aren't a problem here since it's cra) to get at least 2 of your CRA to 22. But there might be cheaper gains elsewhere (getting 18 on all your other items, etc), instead of brute forcing 22 stars. I would definitely get them all to 21, since it's so cheap, then see where else you can get gains from (getting 21 on your superior gollux with spares; 17 > 19 on your other equips with spares, etc) before I even think about 22 CRA. That's just my opinion though. At the end of the day, it's your money.

For gollux belt/earrings you can tap the reinforced belt/earrings to 21/22 and then transfer it to your sup and either settle at 21/20 or go for 22. For gollux pendant u can use dom pendants to transfer and for gollux ring , u use KTs or meister rings to transfer :)

It's true 90% of the time I have quit this game is because of the bullsht rates, like jfc I'll just be trying to toss some 70% scrolls on an alt and have 9 out of 10 fail and it's fk off Nexon. Reg server will probably be a flop for me but I haven't played reboot since Sengoku High so I only have gains for reboot since all my gear is 10 to 12 star tops.

Wouldn't put it passed me to think that Nexon probably has a system where you have to spend a certain amount of mesos before it starts paying out. They do have a patent that decreases rates of gacha items if they are paying out too often afterall.
