We floored the throttle on a regular sedan at Asia's Longest High speed test track - Natrax and maxed its top-speed.
We find out if the 2021 Honda City proves to be a fast family hauler.

@@drmahmoodalisayed1068 don't work it much in lower gears, try in 4th and above. Cos, it is normally used to be one lower rpm in lower gears.

@@TheAshuV brother, i also got this beauty myself now... n didnt feel any stability issue even on 175.... was able to easily hold the speed and maneuver sharply..... coming frm a VW line up drives i can say this holds its position quite well... These unnecessary false remarks r there everywhere... Possibly bcz of older generations... but i m not sure.... Ya u have to use atleast 195 section tyres thts a must to get tht stability.

You should have chosen the automatic (CVT) model of City for testing... automatics are more popular and most buyers are preferring it...not sure what's the point of testing MT

Ivtec lose its pure magic when it is mated with cvt gear box. It is only in the manual, you can experience the vtec kicking in at 4500 rpm till 7200

I own this vehicle you will be nervous even beyond 120kmph it is very uncomfortable at higher speeds as the build quality is below par compared to German cars

Hey, how is the ground clearance with all 5 occupants. Is it sufficient in Indian city condition with breakers and broken patches ?

No problem with ground clearance I drove in worst road conditions after monsoon. With 4 adults it never touched.

City stable if u really own one u won't say like this, stability issue comes after 160+ and it isn't that bad either. City does 160 in 3rd itself

I own one too, mine is pretty stable even till 170-180, after that small vibrations in pedals, but not uncomfortable. It feels uncomfortable post 200, and definitely not safe in highways cos those breaks aren't meant for such speeds, neither the tires.
