u should have mix all the curries and rice together well, then create a small hole in the papadam and fill it with the curry mix and then eat it. One of my favorite chilhood way of eating papadam. Still i am 😇😇😇

Oops you did it again, Max! Another engaging episode, once I started watching I coudn't stop. I can't speak for everyone but I think it's more interesting when you anchor an episode on home cooking while gving us a glimpse of the household. Also when you show us bits of the scenery, that's a plus! Combine those two elements and we have a bite of local flavor. And give us that you did! Yes you did! Thank you for showing us that it's not just about the food. Having said that, I hope you didn't have too much of the papaya slushee ... papaya has been known to open the floodgates. Haha. The street foods look tempting but my favorite's the achcharu, I mean spiced up fruits? ... the fusion of sweetness, acidity and spiciness must be delirious. It has zing, it has zest, it has zip! Which is exactly what I can say about this vlog.

I am loving this series the best yet. I really like it when you go to a typical Sri Lankan home and they prepare a feast for you, I mean who would not love that? I would love to know a bit more about your hosts, like there names, their story if they want to share it , house tour , have they been effected by past events. I don’t think it would detract from your eating and market scenes. I love what you do!

I am referring to the video at 15:37 when the person prepared the tea very similar to the preparation of teh tarik in Malaysia. Max mentioned chye tea in the video, but I am not sure whether the taste is similar to teh tarik. Sorry not able to provide the shop name as I am not from Sri Lanka and I have never been there.
