Whilst I understand there is a lot of trial and error with any kind of simulation, it would be great to have as much certainty as possible in Maxon's own tutorials. Instead Max seems to be caught out again and again by things either not working or working in unexpected ways, leading to a flurry of checking and unchecking parameters and adjusting values really quickly. With such a complex system, users need as much clarity as possible - it would have been good to see better scenes created to demo the difference in parameter settings, scene scale, collider usage and so on. To be honest more and more of Maxon's own demos/tuts are much more confusing than 3rd party ones ( both in terms of the not so clear explanations of how things work, as well as the seeming lack of script which leads to "umm, errr, I mean, no sorry not that, this one" - both of which just generate confusion where there should be clarity. Your user base are primarily artists and designers, not engineers, and a lot of Maxon demos are either dry and clinical walkthroughs of settings ( no different from reading the manual ) or in some cases with previous videos, they are demos by artists/designers who seem to barely know what theyre doing in the program. I really think you need to either train your staff better to do presentations, or just outsource them to some of the excellent existing youtube teachers in this space. It just makes your company seem amateur and disconnected from your user base and their needs. This is meant as constructive feedback ( quite valuable to a company who cares about this ), but looking at the comments on this video and others by Maxon, Im not sure how much attention you pay to feedback. This kind of "deep dive" should have MUCH more engagement, both in terms of views and comments. But I worry you are leaving viewers cold and more confused in some cases than before they watched.

its not even a year old and all the settings are changed and different. You need to redo all the pyro tutorials and information so it will match the latest version of c4d

I'm not sure what you did but following along, my simulation dissipates long before reaching the end. I tried a second time in a new scene file and got the same result. Lowering the dissipation settings to 0 had no effect either.
