Man, there is no great pricing solution for individual hobbyists who learn at a slower pace, other than perpetual, and that too is outrageous. I wish I got in on that instead of two years which want by too fast.

This new stuff is nice, however I follow closely the evolution of Blender (free... VS my quite costly Maxon One subscription) and I see, not small, but HUGE improvements, like a REAL particle integrated system, a plugin to animate CROWDS (excellent!), a REAL fluid system, the revolutionary AI to 3D prompt, and I could go on... Now, having a costly subscription means that we expect more than little (nice) improvements. C'mon Maxon, it's time to do a REAL step forward, before people like me decide to switch for good...!

Speed improvement I like, but STILL no proper interface color scheme customization that allows to easily change the overall tint. I do not want to work with the ultra dark interface but trying to get something lighter needs a massive amount of detail work on all sorts of colors and the end result looks absolutely wonky because not everything can be customized. An option toggle for old ui colors and interface icons would be very welcome. It will not hurt you to keep those legacy options since they do not really create any problems, but for those of us who loved the old look, it will ensure that people will keep upgrading. For now, I will stick to R24 because of this.

Please tell us more about shape simplification, mentioned at 1:28. I see the tons of polygons simulated in an extremely smooth way, I assume that there is some kind of proxy geometry of voxels as a collider used to optimize the sim. Could you please break down this particular scene in your future videos?

Please, fix symmetry in rigs. Sometimes it doesn't work and just teleports symmetrized bones after they're assigned, even if they're mirrored with the mirror tool. And also, it would be fantastic to add an automatic tool for symmetrizing left and right bones (e.g. by name, _L postfix for left and _R for right). Moreover, the undo function (ctrl+z) doesn't work properly with symmetrized rigs.

Will switch from Blender to Redshift when it is fully Integrated without extra cost. Till then blender would have probably evolved so much that there would be no need for RS or C4D, just Blender and Unreal Engine and maybe Houdini.

Saw AVX2 is required for Redshift now. Had heard rumor C4D also now had that requirement but can't see it on the release notes. *Edit* Just found the Maxon article that confirms said requirement.

No. Because Maxin have made it very hard for XP (and everyone else) to update their plugins. It will take a long while before XP will work with 2024
