Sunghoon is an introvert and pretty shy around other ppl that aren’t his members, but he definitely changed the most compared to when they first debuted in terms of personality. He is actually a funny guy and a jokester, and seems to be very attentive and caring in his own way towards his members. Enhypen are mostly calm in interviews, but they’re more loud in other content like their variety show

I think Enhypen is so used to acting naturally in front of cameras because they were formed on a reality show where they filmed 24 hours. Also after the group's formation they continue to periodically work in front of cameras, they often vlog dance practice, record before and after their concerts, chat with fans live on VLive, and have a weekly variety show, the En-o'clock. That last one is always with all 7 together and apparently with the team that always works with them, so it's in those moments when they show their loudest side the most.

I agree about them not being as loud as other groups in these interviews and I actually like that aspect about them. I feel like so many groups feel pressured to be funny and good at variety content especially in the Korean Entertainment Industry, so they feel that much more down to earth

@hityouwitdatdudududududu idk about “tryhard” but definitely don’t wanna be perceived as “boring” Yk if you see older idol groups like Super Junior, their members are well known entertainers and they’ve even talked about how especially in Korea Entertainment, theres that pressure to be funny and entertaining and sometimes that means building a character or going overboard. I think a lot of idols feel that pressure fossure

The thing about Niki is that he's so young!! he's just a child!! he's only 16, turning 17 this year, and he's living away from his family, his big bros in enhypen are helping him grow up. When it's just the boys he's really loud and active, and he's an incredible performer on stage, I think he just needs some time to bloom.

Niki, usually engages more with his members than the camera, he keeps looking at them for comfort, as he needs reassurance in a media he is not completely comfortable with like interviews. Whereas when he is on stage he is anothe person, as performing is his comfort zone. He is also more confident with the camera when he is talking to us on his own. Niki might feel shy in certain situations or environment which I think is mainly due to him being a young foreigner, but I think overall he is very confident for his age, and we can see that even in his old videos before he debuted and when he was a kid.

For Ni-ki part of me understands why he can be so quiet and shy at times, considering he’s so young and hasn’t seen his family in a very long time, he has come a long way since debut though, in fact all the members have and I’m so proud of them.

I think enhypen do not feel loud in the interviews, because they do not overdo anything, they usually are very natural in from of cameras, they do not try to be funny or create drama for the sake of entertainment, which is what I like about them, being someone who has been a kpop fan for years it's very refreshing

6:35 you're actually right, i feel like in most interview settings they're not loud at all, at least in comparison to other kpop groups' interviews like seventeen, got7, monsta x etc. but they definitely get loud sometimes (especially in their show: en-o'clock)

what you said about ni-ki doing his own thing is actually so true. he tends to do what he wants, and that's where i like and appreciate the dynamic of enhypen. the older hyungs goes along with what he wants, and sometimes encourages it, whether that's when he's more outgoing or not; they try to always include him. he is also usually shy in interviews since he's just more camera shy and korean isn't his first language, so it's understandable. in times where he is extremely confident is when he's in reality shows with the members where he can have fun and be himself, and also when performing of course

You are right. They are not loud. They are the calmest group I have ever seen. And I love it. Some of them in the comments are saying ''yes they are calm, but I think because they are young, they will be loud once they grow up"-- what do you mean ?😭 Being calm is not a negative factor. Normal people won't be loud all the time when sitting with groups. There are times when we will be loud and calm. Being calm is their personality and there is nothing wrong about it. You all have seen groups being loud all the time and now comment like this when someone act normal 😂

Sunoo is quite loud, charismatic, expressive and laughs at everything but in English interviews he does not talk much and is always very calm.

I think it’s because Sunoo needs to feel very comfortable to become charismatic and expressive. Whenever he plays games or activities (En O’Clock, ENHYPEN&Hi, etc.), he’s literally jumping off of the walls he’s very energetic. But I think he tends to lose energy when he isn’t in a super comfortable setting (not saying this interview made him uncomfortable, but he isn’t in at home and has cameras around). That’s just the way he is, and I really admire his unique, expressive personality. It is such a breath of fresh air, and he is very honest.

It’s not really an “English” interview, but it is Elle (not a Korea-based company) so it shouldn’t be directed towards Koreans, if you know what I mean.

I personally believe Ni-ki is going through it :)........ when it comes to communicating that is, he's japanese, has to constantly speak and learn korean and he's doing english interviews........ boys brain is working. I also believe however with better fluency he will come out of his shell more.

I strongly agree tha they're calm yet confident...they are not the typical so chaotic grp pr people but you will still entertain by just watching them. I see them as a unique group tho. That's the reason why I enjoy watching them.

Enhypen are quite quiet, and I think sometimes they feel awkward frequently making jokes lol like for example, on their VLive, there are a lot of moments where a member makes a bad joke and the other members just stare in silence, no one really bounces off the bad joke, they just awkwardly let it pass sometimes 😂😂 they’re definitely a more “no nonsense” group sometimes and are pretty calm usually, which I really love about them! But they can be loud sometimes when they feel comfortable like on their variety shows or when they’re on comfortable Korean interviews

What i love about them is they don't act just to entertain the viewers. But funny without trying when they're actually comfortable, roasting and teasing each other all the time. And since we could witness their relationships from the very start, the beginning of their journey, it's even more obvious in how each of their characters developing

Niki is self aware in the sense that he knows he's not good with interviews. In fact in the latest Studio Choom Mix & Match behind the scenes he expressed being nervous and preferring to dance than to do the interview.

ENHYPEN OMGGG FINALLY, btw yes you’re right about ni-ki, he kinda reminds me of young jungkook in a way, always slightly disconnected and spacing out in interviews but is heavily engaged when it’s just him and the guys and likes to fool around a lot. They’re also both the youngest in the group.

I loved this analysis, I hope you can react to more of them😊 Enhypen is characterized by being a group mostly quiet and calm, but you do not get bored with them at all since at the same time they are very witty and fun, they give that feeling of relaxation and peace when you see them, of course sometimes their extra side comes out and nobody stops them, is what distinguishes them as a group I think. I really like that about them, because personally I think that there are not many groups that give that vibe, besides that their personalities hit a lot with mine😄

What I like the most about enhypen is that it relaxes me to watch their interviews. Some groups are loud and chaotic and there's nothing wrong with that, but seeing that calmness in enhypen and also being interesting is a win for me.

Since i know that you love BTS too, I'd say Ni-Ki rn is a mixture of debut era Jungkook who's shy, sensitive, and 17-19 year old V who was known as the alien(in a good way)and literally the prankster of the group. Ni-Ki is giant but he's still a 16 years old baby who just love to dance.😭 Back then in iland, the survival show and early days before and after debut, he was so so shy. There was the language barrier too. But now when u check their other contents like EN-O'CLOCK, you'll be proud like a parent seeing him all happy, pranking his hyungs and scolded by them sometimes yet he's laughing cuz he got scolded lol

If you really want a proper gauge on how their dynamic is you should watch some korean interviews or some of their variety show. English interviews are not the best way to evaluate as the ones who are more confident in English will speak more than the ones who aren't. But those dynamics change when they are speaking Korean. Also Ni-ki is Japanese so he is new in speaking Korean never mind English.

2:58 agreed he’s still young he will grow more 5:16 you should see him in Korean interviews you’d be surprised 😂 he can’t speak English well so he’s unusually quiet here. Sunoo is usually the brightest and he is the most confident member in the group. 5:40 well he is the only member who is not Korean so that makes sense he’s different

I think he's always been matured, remember how adult in iland he reacted to Jungkooks praise and the fact that he took first place? The other guys were crying and couldn't pull themselves together, but although he looked surprised, he was able to look confident

i'm glad you reacted to them again :) and i think you're right actually, sure they can be loud but they rarely get *that* loud. and i personally like that about them because it feels more real ! jungwon definitely has a confidence in front of the camera that he didn't have before: he had to mature a lot since he's the leader, even at such a young age he has a lot of responsibilities and he's handling them really well ! i agree with what you said about jake, he's kind of the "glue" of the group and the members always say he's the kindest and that he puts them at ease, it's really cute. sunghoon is really shy in interviews and kind of a more reserved person in general but he gets very chaotic with the members, which is so special because it proves how much he likes them and trust them :') hope you react to more from them in the future !

Enha have already mentioned on one magazine interview that engenes already know most, if not all, a lot about them. That's because they just act normally themselves on and off cam. Whatever we are seeing on cam is the usual them. Yeah there are times that they're loud and chaotic, but there are also times that they're chill, relax and calm. That's why a lot of people are saying enha is the realest group out there.

thank you for reacting to enhypen again! your commentaries are always so interesting and i'd love to see more enhypen content :) i feel like English interviews like this don't accurately reflect the way they usually behave, so i think for next time, you could perhaps choose an en o'clock episode to analyse (one of the more recent ones)? since it's their own variety show, they are a lot more comfortable at expressing themselves!

I think they are overall more quiet than other groups. I think Niki has several obstacles to climb over in these situations. Obviously Korean isn’t his 1st language and he is still learning. He is only 16 (debuted at 15, personally I think they should have to wait til 18) and on top of that he’s naturally shy anyway! Bless him 🖤

Another great video, Max! I think it's true that they're definitely not the loudest group, but probably partially because they are still so young and new. As their confidence grows, I think they could be more comfortable in expressing their louder sides in interviews like this rather than keeping it so professional. I would absolutely love to see your reaction to episode 32 of en-o'clock. It's such great fun and because it is not an interview setting you can see their personalities and dynamic more!

I would really recommend watching the 2021 Halloween episode of stray kids' variety show called skz code (episodes 8 and 9) I would also recommend watching an episode of their variety show enhypen o' clock where they can get very loud and chaotic at moments but the show overall is really fun.

@@maxpbeaumont hey max, i really feel like you should react to enoclock episodes.. atleast 1 of them to get to know their actual personalities.. these interviews don't show much.. I would recommend ep 20 (sunghoon teaches the other guys figure skating, it's sooo cute ) Ep 24 ( here they debate on certain topics so maybe this episode would help you analyze their communication skills more ) Ep 32- 33 among us episode!!! They are by far my favorite episodes of enoclock, they had soo much fun. You'll really have a great time watching these episodes . I really appreciate your reactions, they're new and different from other channels as we also get to learn smth in return and not just the reaction. Ni-ki does not have much confidence independently because he’s is young, less inexperienced than the other members, and new. I notice in their shows such as En O’clock and interviews that Ni-ki always seems like he wants to bring another member in when he is doing an interview or playing a game because he just isn’t comfortable with the camera and the pressure. Ni-ki literally changed from a normal teen boy who danced at a studio and went to school to a boy who sacrifices their freedom, family, and childhood to become a foreign idol. It must’ve been nerve-racking for him. But, I am so glad Ni-Ki is gaining his confidence and has supporting members and family.

I agree with a lot of others in the comments. React to an En o'clock episode! You'll truly see their personalities there. Heeseung and Sunghoon are actually very funny which you don't see in these interviews. Jungwon is the leader and he's really grown to be a great one. I think the first interview you reacted he was still trying to find his way on handling interviews and stuff since their group was still new. He's much more confident in front of cameras now and it shows. Please keep the Enhypen videos coming! 😊

You won't really 100% get their personality if you only watch song association. Their dynamics are different when they are making their show and they speak Korean. Sunghoon is waaaaaay different, Ni KI is as he is here - he is the youngest living in his own world. I'm really curious about Sunghoon's grow. He is really talented but reserved, it's really hard to read him through this interviews, he has his walls up but it will crumble in the future I hope. They are fresh and they are chill.

They really do need to work on being engaging during interviews. Jake and Jungwon are really the only ones who pull this off naturally. The rest are so reserved it feels like they’ve forgotten they have a job to do on camera.
