Solid bag. Just ordered the TT12. I just need it for light duty. Going to theme parks. Shopping. Etc etc. And for that it should be perfect. I know the 12 doesn't have all the features of the 26 but it has the most essential for me.

I've managed to get along without an edc pack and will probably continue, but I do have several pieces of Maxpedition gear one of which is a Fleigerduffel which is the greatest travel bag ever made (for me). Maxpedition is first class gear, best materials, excellent craftsmanship and innovative design. My second favorite piece of Maxpedition gear is a 5x12 bottle holder I carry my Jetboil Flash in, it's perfect.

I’ve always liked maxpedition except for the suspension systems. The shoulder pads are narrow, thin and under padded especially when you’re carrying some weight. A wide and padded hip belt would be very helpful also.

Thanks for reviewing this Maxpedition product. It's an awesome looking pack and would be a great EDC bag for my purposes. I've been a 5.11 fan for years and use a grey pack for EDC. Although efficient, it lacks in areas and frankly find them irritating. I picked it up for its looks and it was on sale at one third the MSRP. I love all of the Maxpedition pouches I've acquired. I will definitely give this one a try...and thanks for the discount code.

I would not order anything from Maxpedition after my experience with them. I bought their products for years, for myself and as gifts. One Christmas they had a two for one sale and I bought two large suitcase type bags. One arrived and one never arrived. When I called them they were snotty and made a joke of my concerns, I could actually hear some of the employees in the background, laughing at my request. Unbelievable attitude. After months, someone called from the company and offered to send a bad, IF they could find one in inventory. By that time I had it and didn't pursue it.

This backpack does not seem like it's for adults or like it's for short torso type of people. I know Maxpedition has the typhoon which is great because it goes down to your pelvic bone the issue I have with this bag is that it's short and the straps will fray or snap later on from extended/daily use. I really wish they would widen and reenforce the straps and add in padding on the upper area to prevent discomfort from extended use.

Meh! Kinda boring and $178! I’d rather have the Vulture, condor or falcon at that price point. Granted those look more militaristic which I think is the point of the video, but those products from them look far more functional and a better bang for the buck especially with a hip belt to take the load off the shoulders. I get it, a lot of day packs don’t come with a hip belt, but alot of day packs also come in at half the price for the same function.

$178.00? You can get the Direct Action Dragon Egg or Ghost which are superior to this bag. Sure, they’re tactical bags, however, any backpack, regardless of color or the absence of Molle raises suspicion. You profile the person, not the bag. These designer bags or Gray-man series will most likely have a laptop in them (attractive to thieves).

If your going to go to 500D from 1000D cutting your coast dramatically yet telling it will still do the job your going to have to cut the price! It’s like the big sticker that tells you designed in America (made in Taiwan though I own a kodiak and a mongo but that is the is old maxpedition stuff.
