You betta preach!!! This Chocolate Gawwwwwdesss is Theeeee Most Unsung Queen on History!! It sickens me to see this happening over and over to her and others that look like her / Us!!! Thats where WE come in!!! WE need to support OUR MUSICIANS to the fullest and not let them go out in obscurity. I saw a Chinese woman on Instagram?? or KZbin (I promise to try and insert the link later) who was singing a song by Frank Ocean. You should have seen the praises that "WE" were giving her. Its sad that all some of us have to do is see "Other" or "Different" and then feel an uncontrollable urge to support or to give exaggerated praise and claim how soulful an "Other" is. Yet, Angie Stone gets mediocre applause or accolades by people who were literally raised to understand and appreciate the best music on earth. I am not being biased, nor am I tripping, I just say that I am tired of this happening to rappers and singers, while others who wouldn't normally do our music get al the accolades. So Fam, I appreciate your honest input on Ms. Stone's talent... she deserves it!
