She was a student with hardly any money. Yet she found a way to buy tickets for us to see Angie Stone in Brighton, England, in 2002. While Angie belted away on this track, I took one look at her and knew she was a 'keeper.' Twenty-five years later, she is still my ride-or-die.

RIP Andrea Martin 🙏🏿 The writer and background vocals to this song. For those who didn't know she passed 9-27-21. Wrote a lot of hit records- Monica, En Vouge, SWV, Fantasia just to name a few. Just reminisced and started crying... To say thank you Cecile, would be... simply not enough... without true Artists such as she is, we would be savages at each other's throats fighting for bread crumbs...Cecile, please, never stop inspiring people and reminding the fallen ones they have a soul...

Angie Stone, blessed with a beautiful voice and a great human being. I saw this special she did in Canada. Then again with Josh Groban. That voice and talent flow through her like a divine light. Soft silky crystal. Oh Angie Stone you are the best baby girl :)

This one is timeless. The mood, the words, the angst. "I wish I didn't miss you anymore...." Who hasn't said that to themselves or aloud? In time, the angst and the longing fade. It disappears when you find one who you love and they are there and don't change or leave.

Just pure undiluted CLASS!! I’ve loved this song every since I first heard it all those years ago. I know we all have different tastes…..but how can anyone not like this? I would never have believed anyone could have improved an O’Jays melody but those lyrics are so emotive and her voice is stunning. It is perfection.

Mate this song gets me EVERY DAMN TIME! It never gets old. Classic! This melody perfectly captures the feeling of missing someone. If I had to try explain the feeling you get when there's that huge yawning gap left by someone who was everything to you using only music, this is exactly how it would sound. I LOVE ITTTTT
