2016 german music was burried by pseudo "german" Rap. Almost everything song sounds the same.

Sadly this music is a mirror to todays generations in Germany, it's not only the music that became superficial and lacks in creativitiy, it's also the people...:/

I never was into rap. But there are some exceptions, like Sido or Apache 207.

When you want to hear some really good German music, you should check out the band "AnnenMayKantereit". They are very creative and the lead singer has an extraordinary voice. Here are some suggestions: 1. Lass es kreisen (Live in Köln) 2. Ich geh heut nicht mehr tanzen (Proberaum Session) 3. Barfuß am Klavier

Hi, i like your reactions so much. The problem here in germany is, that none of the good top 10 artists want to go to the esc... :(

Cro is one arstist, not a band. He always wears a panda mask to hide his identity. I can only recommend that you look into his music, there is a reason that he is shown that often in my opinion
@biancarichling7895 ай бұрын
It might be interesting to check out Sido. He started off as Gangster rapper and became softer over time. Adel Tawil/Ich+Ich are also worth the attention.

and I watched your reaction till the moment where I really can´t listen to. to give you a quick view from a German perspective: 2016 was the funeral of German music market. since then I never heared a good song agaiin in the German charts listet.

Germany might not be huge at ESC but for some time (2005 - 2015) we instead had a great BSC (Bundesvision Song Contest). :D The BSC was a fun project by Stefan Raab (who himself attended ESC 2000 quite successfully (5th place)) which basically works like the ESC but on the basis of Germany only: Bands from the different federal states competed against each other and therefore, the shows showcased some of the best German music of the different years. I believe you can find videos of the different BSCs here on KZbin. Maybe you'd like to check them out or even react to them.

The change in style is probably caused by the many migration going on with all the refugees coming to germany and bringing their own music with them and influencing the german music market, shifting more towards rap and hiphop.
@MaxSujyGermany5 ай бұрын
Would that pool of people be too small to influence the market tho?
@biancarichling7895 ай бұрын
@@MaxSujyGermany depends on how much the native, meaning german, music fans get influenced by it. And let's be realistic, new things are always most interesting, especially for the youth. And as soon as anything is trending everyone wants to have a piece of the cake.

Well about u saying the first half was better i agree 2016 the whole rap stuff got trendy and so many psudo gangster tspets poped up and i hatet it 😅 Amd 2017 we got flooded with the shit Pr woth psudo poesy pop (as i call it) it took overhand and for a view yers besides a handfull of artists everything sounded kinda the same Or well hearing it again its more like drug rap but jeh not the lyrics i csn identify with 😅

as a german i must agree that after 2016 the music kinda went downhill everything is kinda only like look at my stuff, lacking the "feeling" of the music, i mean some rappers ( mostly "Sido" ) ceep up the old pace but the newcommer rapper kinda ruined the whole meaning of music for me

Autotune BS Rap music took over globally in the second half the 2010s... Germany is no different. I'm sounding like an old man now, but our young generation watches TikTok the whole day, has no idea what actual music is and expect to work 4 hours a day, 3 days a week to have a chance to "discover themselves". The West is doomed 😀

@@Joy-full: I understand your objection and admit that my emojis were a bit childish. Nevertheless, the woman's reaction in the video is extremely homophobic. I can't understand why they didn't cut it out. And they haven't really taken a position on it either. As the father of a gay son, I have no tolerance and, above all, no respect for such behavior

@@caturaebenton2886 As a member of the LGBTQ community, I really appreciate that u support ur son. I can also respect that u admit that Ur reaction was a bit childish, not necessarily wrong but definitely the wrong approach. Her reaction was indeed not good or respectful, however as I mentioned in my previous comment for me it's really hard to determine something like that for me. But I know where u coming from, but I also think that people are allowed to be "against" it. As long it doesn't effect our life style, people truly don't need to agreed on everything. They're allowed to express they're against it, they don't need to support it. (Just like we are allowed to) But in the end they need to accept it, as it's not just gonna disappear because they want to. I really hope u understand what I mean, I'm not trying to be disrespectful or rude. But I really like to discuss things, I really salute u for supporting and accepting Ur son. As someone who's father doesn't.
