Did the car have clear coat?

I have heard that civic doesn’t have one. Final coat is mix of the base and clear.

@@maxvisionautodetailingit’s important to make sure the gloss isn’t from polish paste. And some UV protection is nesesery

@@Lurker01 the only thing you can do in this instance to make it last is repaint it, everything else is fairy dust.

my polisher cable is on the short side..very troublesome to have it on shoulder..

You always polish top to bottom so even if the cable touches the paint it will polish out .
