My son plays defensive end. What is a way to tell if the offense is going to run or pass before they hike the ball?

By the oline feet if there wide it's a pass if it's staggered it's a run

I Coach OLBs on a Varsity level. We teach to read the stance and hands of the OT and Guards. These are often big boys, 260+ at this level if they have to Pull or Pass Block it’s going to require them to move slightly backwards a lot of them will lean back light on that hand or their heels, if it’s a run they likely will be more leaned into their stance toward you ready to explode out
