MaXXXine (2024) Review

A bit late to the party but I'm so excited to watch this episode!

MaXXXine felt like a jump from point-to-point and no other character has impact at all around Maxine. Mia Goth is amazing in X and Pearl, but, she doesn’t get much to do other facial react. The lack of connection to X is also a negative. Wish we saw more of Maxine’s character deeply like we do with Pearl.

I thought we’d see more parallels with them, I definitely thought we’d see Maxine descend into the same madness and jealousy that Pearl did and become the Night Stalker taking out her competition in the industry or something like that, this just felt so disjointed and disconnected from Pearl and X and to its self honestly.

Definitely my least fav of the trilogy but I’m excited to hear your guys’ thoughts!
