I just realized how sad it must be for Maxine to be the sole survivor of the massacre. She lost her boyfriend and everything. It will be interesting to see how she copes

Yes. I wonder if they show her suffering from PTSD? There is a private detective in Maxxxine, so I'm guessing they've been hired by either Maxine's father or one of the relatives of the victims in X.

I hadn’t seen the release month. Unless it comes from the studio or the director, I’m reluctant to believe any proposed release dates. Where did you hear it?

​​@@LonelyGuyLovesMoviesSeveral horror vloggers mentioned it yesterday because of a leaked memo from one of the companies handling the official merchandise for the movie. July 5th apparently. There will be a younger actress playing Maxine when she was a little girl and these scenes will be shown as flashbacks.

I know that there is a ZZ Top song on the soundtrack. I'm guessing that Maxine's father or a follower of his church comes after Maxine to try and bring her home.

@@tiago77907 Possibly. The guy who is taking legal action against Mia plays a dead parishioner so I'm guessing there will be a big murder scene involving Maxine's father and his congregation. There is also an actress playing Maxine as a young girl so I'm guessing they will be flash back scenes.

God I hate to be that asshole but if this killer is based on the East LA murderer The Nightstalker Richard Ramirez I really hope they hire a latino actor to play him. A little more representation would not only be cool, but it'll bring a higher sense of authenticity to the film.

Granted, Lou Diamond Phillips is Filipino, but Zach Villa played Richard Ramirez in American Horror Story, and he, like Ramirez, is of Mexican descent, so at least there's that.
