For information, Trachys fold their fronds when they have too little water. Windmill palms like a lot of water. You can't give them too much.

Everything looking great for another great year of growing. For combination planting, I have golden cypress with background banana trees. So, much rain here in Louisville, Kentucky.

Why not plant a Mexican blue palm ( Brahea Armata ) and a Chilean wine palm ( Jubaea chilensis )? Both are hardier than Washingtonias and are great looking palms.

Harder to zone push in somewhere like Ontario. Not quite as cold hardy and likes hotter offer drier summers

Everything looks nice! My 3 out of 8 Trachys have a lot of dry fronds after this winter. One of those 3 started with new fronds, but the other 2 have few green fronds, but nothing happens. 🫤 How can I help them?
