Least happy of all churches. Interesting. Jordan B Peterson said that looking for happiness i pointless. Look for happiness is too shallow. If you are happy at some point in life, then take care of that moment, because its rare. A state of no troubles, no suffering or problems at all. He meant that what you can and should aim for is meaning in your life. Purpose. The cross means you, the center of the cross is where you should try and be. So i try and see it as: pick up your cross, bear it on your shoulder and find deep meaning and purpose in life. He said that the orthodox church laid this out very well. But even with that mentioned, the closer you come to the origin of christianity - the more terrifying it seems to someone who has dedicated his or her life to deny that anyting good might come out of it.

OmfG. When he says about slave owners giving their slaves a book that’s essentially says God’s in the side of slave… 😂🥰 As a Catholic, this is one area I hope will change in our religious community-the unwillingness to call Protestants what they are: heretics. All day long you hear priests condemn the many errors of the secular mindset as if they’re saying something. They will judge those outside the Church but not say a word about the errors of those who claim to be inside the Church. Yet, those Christians errors and the hypocrisy they breed are what drove people from God these past decades. We want to do the heroic act of removing logs from eyes of seculars but won’t look in the mirror and notice the splinters in our own. Error is splinters.
