I like the caller. You should add the band to the bottom of the dress with the reverse side of the fabric. The blue chiffon print top is fabulous.

On my morning walk today I decided I would vacuum the house when I got home. Then I noticed this video and plopped down on the couch for half an hour of pure delight! At the end you mentioned you were going to vacuum and I snapped back into reality! 🤣 So many wonderful, wonderful makes! The menswear all turned out so fabulous! And I literally laughed out loud when you said something like, "sewing... you never know what's going to happen!" So funny and true! I love your attitude about all your sewing experiences, even the exasperating moments. Such a good example to me. I love that green top with the green and pink skirt! The design lines are beautiful. The black floral motif on the black fabric did show up on camera a couple times - so elegant! About that $1 fabric and that collar: incredible deal! The collar reminds me of retro portrait collars, only it's circumference is smaller. I do like that it isn't hugging the neck though. I think it looks nice on you. Even the last top with the slit shoulder seams looked fine on your figure, but I think that's because it looked balanced with the pants you paired with it. And the caftan looked so gorgeous! You have such a flair for modifying garments to suit you! I struggle to think outside the box, or rather, the pattern envelope suggestions. Which reminds me of your comment about not showing Colin that pattern envelope! Oh my goodness, you have the best humor and personality! When you went on hiatus last year I literally cried for about an hour. Now I can't believe it was that long ago! Thank you for continuing to share your sewing, and snippets of your family and life with all of us! 💜💜💜

I am IN LOVE with that chiffon top! What gorgeous fabric! I understand what a devil of a time chiffon can be to work with, but it is beautiful to wear! The other outfits you mention that didn’t press easily look very nice on you! At least on the video the problems don’t come across! A great fashion show today, complete with gentlemen! I have four favorite things to comment on: Loved the silver & white $1/yard fabric shift with a fantastic collar. The green cabbages are so Kaffe Fassett-esque...love that fabric (and that designer). Favorite top was the basic black shell with side slits...which will go with ANYTHING ! And lastly, the Vogue 9979 caftan...zebra print was perfect. If you ever make it with the hood, line it so it looks good on or off your head. Thank you so much for todays video...you just keep getting better and better!
