Tom Lake was so enjoyable. She says so much in that one, but with such a light touch.

Tom Lake is also on my tbr and I’m currently reading Annie John, excited to know your thoughts ☺️

I know, TBR's are rarely followed to perfection. I think most people are mood readers even when they try not to be. I've never read an Ann Patchett novel but I have The Dutch House out in my shed. I'm intrigued by the LA book though, since I have a special interest in reading books set in California. I'm looking into the Book Naturalist's Club - thanks for telling us about it.

That’s really cool that you inherited your grandma’s journals. My grandma recently passed away and I inherited her journals. She was in the marines during WWII so I’m sure they’re chock full of interesting things. I have vague plans of publishing them into a book one day but we’ll see if it ever happens.

Your grandma's journals sound like they will be quite interesting!

Well, my computer is running amuck! I left a comment and later I thought I saw the comment on another booktuber's post. So I deleted the comment because it was addressed to you. Now I see that my original comment I posted here is gone, I guess I deleted it? I forgot what I wrote. Anyway, bad and scary stuff follow me even online. I subscribed...whew! *sigh* . -James & Bella
