Re: the monthly reflections....if it ain't broke, don't fix it! You give us so many wonderful ideas, please don't feel like you need to try something novel just for our benefit. Learning to stick with something that is working is a valuable lesson for us as well.

I am one of those die-hard coffee fans LOL I've tried to like tea but cannot get into it. I think coffee date has just become a general term for meeting at a coffee shop/bakery type place and enjoying each other's company.
@JashiiCorrin Жыл бұрын
Yeah, in my soul, I know it’s not specifically limited to coffee, but I feel like a fraud when I say “sure, let’s go for coffee” when I really mean “I’ll have a chai, k thx baii” 😝 haha

when drawing the white highlight, try putting it on the opposite side of the darker section of the drawing to create a slightly more realistic impression of light and shadow. Love the vid, very relaxing :)
@JashiiCorrin Жыл бұрын
Yeah I typically would too, but then I put the first one on the darker side and was like "well...guess this is my life now" 😂😝 glad you enjoyed the video! 😄

I love this theme. I might have to copy it for next May. My church started a Mother's Day tea last year and now it's becoming a tradition. By next year, I may start enjoying tea more than I do now. I also love these colors.

I think Q1 broke my brain, and I suddenly needed to pre-make all my monthly/weekly layouts for the next few months, which I have never done in half a decade of bullet journaling. But as it happens, the washi decoration I used for May is a nice dusty rose color and I have a few spots left that are perfect for adding some mugs into LOL! And while I am definitely more of a coffee drinker at home, my mugs are equal opportunists. They are happy with coffee, tea, hot chocolate, apple cider, even alcoholic beverages depending on the glassware situation on special occasions.

I love me some tea, and when I drink coffee, it's mostly sugar and milk with a touch of coffee. Also, coffee makes me tired.

A computer glitch could be a cool theme that makes it necessary to change the calendar partway through. I've been having a rough day for no particular reason, and I was so excited to see this video was live. I really enjoy these, your calm demeanor and how you set these up are such a nice treat! I have been inspired to incorporate a few of your spreads into my own set-ups lately too.

Computer glitches would work well for that, yeah! Hope your day picked up 💜

I love these videos, they are so inspiring! I keep making a monthly calendar in my (leftover) physical journal because of them 😅 I use a full digital system instead, except for my multi-year journal. I just sometimes want to be creative and these videos keep inspiring me to be!

I drink either tea or coffee, depending on the time of day. I love coffee for the morning, but I prefer tea in the afternoons. Also! This theme is adorable! I love it so much!! Also, also, I don't mind comic sans. I don't like wingdings, though. I don't understand the purpose!

Oooh - so pretty! I loved this so much that I'm going to do a tea theme for May as well! (This is only my second month doing BuJo, so I don't really have favorite themes/setups yet.) But I'm a huge tea drinker (and I'll actually be kicking off the month by helping to select new tea for the breakrooms at work), so I find this very appropriate.

I've done a "priory of the orange tree" theme, drawing a very detailed blule dragon on an orange background. it was A LOT :/ I enjoyed the colors tho lol

Ya I have that problem every month. So I just stick to plain and boring monthlies on one page and on the next page is a brain dump for the month. The monthlies are just for appointments and important tasks like taking my meds and giving my dogs their meds. As far as housework I know what I need to do and I do them as I go like dishes after the meals, cleaning the kitchen as I cook, laundry is the same which I plan my outfit the night before so I know if I need to do laundry

I relate so much to the start of this video! I’m so disappointed with my May setup as the more I tried to change it and adapt as I went along, the worse it seemed to get 😢 At least you tried it all out first before putting it in your journal. I wasn’t that smart 🫣😝
@JashiiCorrin Жыл бұрын
But you learnt a thing! 🤙 I'd gotten a decent way with sketching out my original idea for this setup before I ended up changing tactics. It was painful to do all that erasing 😝

Absolutely nothing hurts my feelings more than watching you use washi tape as a disposable resource 🤣 But if I ever acquired washi tapes that I didn't plan to use, this would be an excellent alternative if no one else wanted them!
@JashiiCorrin Жыл бұрын
At least I’m using it, hehe 😝 what pains me more is to see people doing the same thing but with really good quality tapes like those from The Washi Tape Shop 😭 like nooooo, it was so beautiful (and costly 💸😭)

@JashiiCorrin Жыл бұрын
Mine's the 0.7mm 💜 I'm not sure if they have other sizes 🤔 or at least, I haven't seen them. I had one Inkjoy that was particularly inky which was hard to write smaller with once though 😅

I don't like coffee so I only drink tea, but when I'm outdoor with friends I wish I had cheaper taste. At least in my city, plain coffee is much muuuuch cheaper than any other drink.

I Love your videos and in fact they inspired me to journal and start reading again. I even joined the book club. But as soon as I put reading on my habit log, I have not read a page. Am I the only one who wants to track but subconsciously doesn't do anything I'm tracking?!?!?
@JashiiCorrin Жыл бұрын
Oh no! 😅 I find it hard to read daily, so I only really have it on my habit tracker for a "when did I last" view rather than actually trying to make myself read every day 😝
