You can really see in the little things, how she smiled when Skye pretended to be her, how she is so patient with her, so understanding, the fact that Skye makes her smile, that Skye has changed May and she is her daughter. Same with Skye, "May taught me 😊," how she trusts May, how she feels bad when she messes up with May. *The love between them* 🥰😊

I felt this way up until season 5. Seasons 6 and 7 just sat on May so much. The writers stopped writing meaningful/moving scenes between May and Daisy. By the end of the series it felt more like May and Daisy were only coworkers.

I will never get over what that scene where May beats up the guy who shot Skye. May always thinks tactically, she never thinks with her heart, especially in season. The fact that Skye, a girl that she's only known for a few months tops, getting shot is what pushes her into acting so irrationally just shows how much she cares for her.

coulson and may are daisy's parents that she never had, they are a little family and nothing can change my mind about it. theyve been there right from the start. coulson saw the potential in daisy when he first laid eyes on her, may had her doubts. but may learned about daisy quickly and knew what was best for her, always supported her, right until the end. theyre perfect.

Rhys Jackson yeah agreed but i think its also that fitz has a mom already and simmons has parents. coulson and may are parental to all three but fitz and simmons dont 'need' them. its true fitz even though hes close with his mom didnt have a dad around and coulson responds to that and fills that role (and so did radcliffe to an extent) but he wasnt a lonely child. he had his mom. daisy is the extreme - shes an orphan who's wanted parents her entire life, which means may and coulson had the opportunity to fill completely those roles in her life, in a way they didnt for fitz and simmons.

@@jimbotron4749 But there are VERY few of them. I can probably think of one that happens in every season after season 5. And when it's only one scene, or even if it's 3 or 4, I still consider the season sitting on such potential. It's one of the main reasons so many fans stayed tune until the very end. Those first 4 seasons made us care for the characters and their relationships, but the back half of the series just never came back to that. The only exception has been Daisy and Coulson's relationship.
