Woman in Cabin 10 was pretty good. There were a few parts that dragged a bit, but otherwise ok!

From your list I've read three. A far Wilder Magic and The Unmaking of June Farrow, loved loved loved both these books! Once Upon a Broken Heart was good but had the potential to be even better imo, at the end of the day I still gave it a 4 star.

Once Upon a Broken Heart is very whimsical in its writing and overall plot. I don’t consider myself to like that typically but I was hooked. Flew through it and had to make myself hold off of book two because book 3 had been pushed back. Unfortunately book 3 was not it. But based on its GR rating that isn’t the overall consensus. You can read this on its own but you do meet someone in the Caraval trilogy but I tried to read book one twice and hated it both times. I do think she will write more in the Once Upon a Broken Heart world even though it was going to be a duology that she changed to a trilogy. I won’t be picking them up though. I’ll just hold my love from OUABH and The Ballad of Never After and pretend that A Curse for True Love was never a thing I came in contact with. Hopefully you love it the whole way through like a lot of others do. It’s compulsively readable too. Very hard to put down and very unique.

thanks so much for your input!! i was debating because i have not read caraval (i think i also tried to read it in the past and was struggling to get into it!), but i think i am just going to go for OUABH!

Unmaking of June Farrow definitely magical realism. Not bad but I can’t imagine it being a favorite- at least not for me!
