This is so cool. There is a great college in Geneseo NY where I attended a long time ago. I never realized the connection between the two towns. They discovered a tunnel running from the Genesee River up to Geneseo NY in 2018, that they think was part of the Underground Railroad too.

2:36 Still living with the consequences of that history. Thank you Dr. Pitz for making that statement. Too many people in this country will not accept that basic truth.

Seeing that the original person that portrayed Aunt Jemima was a former slave, she could have very well had cooked your pancakes.

Aunt Jeremiah wasn’t a real person just like how pancakes weren’t a think during that time. Dumbass. I’m willing to bet you think the man on the Quaker oatmeal packaging is real too.

@@sevenft3Get your facts. Read the book Left to Tell. It's by a survivor of the massacres in Rwanda. She tells how she escaped and was given a hiding place along with a group of young women. That space was about 4 feet by 3 feet and they could only stand during the time they had to be hidden. Read about the places Jews had to hide when they were in nazi Germany and I'm sure it wasn't exactly the Ritz-Carlton.
