Keep in mind when you read The Hobbit that it was meant to be a children's book. Some people read it thinking it will be like the movies but it's a pretty different feeling. I hope you enjoy it and get into LotR afterwards! ❤

For The Hobbit, I cannot recommend the new(er) audiobook highly enough! I also listened to most of it while going on a 5 mile walk through a really lovely park which really just enhanced the adventure vibes.

I second that! This is my favorite trilogy of all time. You will not be disappointed. I recommend reading it in September, though, just to get the fall vibes going on in the book.

I was so excited for Ready or Not being that I’m a mother and it had 5⭐️ potential until I got to page 185…IYKYK and being a Christian I knew at that one sentence that I no longer wanted to read this book. It could be good but it was a HUGE let down that this felt “thrown in” and added no value to the story. I was sad to say the least
