Absolute beauty. Last Sunday, father's day, I sat on my couch with my 12 year old daughter's head resting in my lap as she laid on the couch sleeping, and this song begins to play on you tube, totally random. It was one of the most beautiful moments of my life.

horror/thriller author at amazon.com books sez: Much as I enjoyed this, think Caitlin's writing works better as a poem than a spoken-word song reminscent of Leonard Cohen, where word flow is of paramount importance. Also, rather than turn it into a 1 1/2 minute mantra, would have shortened the "may the earth feel your love" reference to a single repetition--for greater impact!

A lyric may require rhythms and harmonies to achieve the author's intended effect on an audience. A poem may require freedom from the confines of a rhythmic/harmonic structure to achieve the author's intended effect. The addition of compelling video is a remarkable step in the evolution of this work. May it continue to evolve. I am convinced it will be worth the time and energy to do so.
