I think I'll probably feel the same when I read Funny Story. Especially coming out of a long term romance, I think it's almost necessary to have some time to be yourself and heal. Generally with a lot of romance books, I just ignore things like these but I feel like with Emily Henry books, they're so realistic so I wonder how I'll actually feel about it when I get around to reading it. OK. I finally saw the entry of JUDE. And I felt like I would feel much more emotion if I saw the page; but the way the narrator spoke it made me 💀Man I'm just a hater for the audiobook 😭Because I felt so stolen?? from my potential experience of actually reading the book. I'll be adding The Vanishing Half 📝to my TBR. Need some variety of books and your premise seems so interesting 💕 LMAOOOO losing your mind over JJK. GEGE YOU MIGHT AS WELL WRITE YOURSELF INTO THE MANGA. BECAUSE MY HANDS ARE READY TO BE THROWN. At this point... ??? what is the point of the story 👹 even after they wrap up the big bad boss... who's left?? 🥴

I felt like such a hater for it but it was so distracting. I think it’s still fun but man it pops up even in the story so it’s not like they breeze past it either! I think I would’ve liked it better if they committed to the delulu. 😭 NOOOOO!!! Are you thinking of checking out Wicked King? I heard it’s better because we don’t have all the world building. If you are, I’d be happy to buddy read. The only way I got through Wild Love was buddy reading and talking mad ishh. I think the physical book was better. The audiobook is off. Like too old but too young at the same time???? I couldn’t get engrossed either because I kept getting audio skipping 💀 OH MY GOD 👹 I read the Japanese release a few days ago, and I’m reading out of SPITE now lol. I am ready to FIGHT. I told my husband cause all my favs are dead or MIA, I want everyone to die now. It’s personal now 👹

@@Chronicallyd I REALLY enjoyed the ending of The Cruel Prince, so I'll definitely check out The Wicked King. Can't wait to see what happens next!! Yessss! We should definitely buddy read it. Just let me know whenever you're ready to pick it up 🥹 I'm just a big hater for the audiobook; definitely ruined my experience. I think I'll most definitely re-read the series once I'm done, esp the first one since I felt like I would've enjoyed it waaay more. RIGHT???? At this point WHO'S LEFT 😭I had so much hope since Shibuya. Now I'm just hate reading 💀

ugh i just LOVE your energy so much 👉🏻👈🏻 I am not up to date with JJK but i HEAR that people are NOT happy and that it's kind of going off the rails and specifically that the mangaka is kind of messing everything up, so idk if that makes me want to catch up MORE or whether i should give up on getting up to date because it's not worth it hahahah Glad to see you like The Familiar (and ofc The Cruel Prince hehe, I'm so excited for your Wicked King thoughts!), I keep putting off reading it even though I loved the first chapter so that is very encouraging to hear it's worth it!

🥹 thank you!! UGhhhh it’s so off the rails now. I’m continuing because I want to see where it goes and how it ends but 😭 the suffering. It feels so personal for some reason lol. I resort to reading Haikyuu or Dungeon Meshi after as a pick me up lol. I’m so excited for the Wicked King!! I loved The Familiar so much. I really enjoyed taking my time with it~ I’m excited to hear your thoughts on it!! It’s different from her previous works so I know it’s kinda hit or miss lol.
