Maya: Complex Loft in Seconds [Animated Sweep]

This tutorial is 7 minutes long, but it shows a process in detail which, once internalized, can achieve amazing results within seconds.
A well hidden secret is the Animated Sweep which you find under the Animation and not under the Modeling menu set. It creates a NURBS Loft from animated curves. Not more, and not less.
I demonstrate the construction of a rain gutter with a 90° bend and high resolution at the corner. This can be done by giving the animation more time for rotation. The faster the curve is being animated, the less detailed the resulting NURBS surface is.
