They’re actually 30 not “middle age” and the child actor was really 17-19 years of age when they filmed and aired this show thankfully nowhere near 12 or 13 as the character he portrayed but yea I get it from your perspective. However that’s kind of why the show IS funny its two 30 year old millennial women who were 13 years old back in the early 2000s and they’re portraying their 13 year old self not their 30 year old self (or as you inaccurately put it “middle aged”). this is kind of their homage to their childhood experiences. So I can see why it would be upsetting for people like you but for the rest of us with a sense of humor and can relate to being 13 back in the early 2000s this is awkwardly HILARIOUS and the children on set weren’t abused or harmed in anyway so chillax ✋🏽
