Man this show got the pairings all wrong. It should have been Maya + Lucas Riley +Farkle. They would have blended so much better, complimenting personalities, strengths helping weaknesses, shared interests and quirks. (especially Riley and Farkle) This show seemed to think that just because Riley was the main character she should have the cool guy, but thats not always the way it works, and it ended up with more of a fan fic feel were the fan replaces the main guy characters love interest with themselves.

@americandefender1861 i guess, but lucas never rlly liked maya. Hes always loved riley, and hated the fact that he was considered her "brother" now. His jealousy was always towards riley and never to maya. Riley obvi still loved him, but when she found out about maya, she gave him up for her, no matter what she felt. Maya later does the same when she realises she could never like lucas the way riley does. And riley practicallly forced lucas to date maya. Then MAYA gave him up for riley, bcus she knew they were right for eachother. And she went for Uncle Boing 🤭 the pairings were great (ish) in my opinion. But the writers created too much craziness for fans to handle, so everyone fights over which ship is better. Honestly, they shouldn't have made a love triangle happen. It shouldve just been bang on riles and lucas, or it was too crazy. (and smackle seemed too real for farkle😂)
