it is actually nice seeing "influencers" that are budget conscious. I realize it is out of necessity for Alveus, but it is just better overall. i thought the same watching maya dress shop. good example to set

Exactly, we are so used to people just seeing something and buying it without any second guessing. Nice to see them budget and think critically on whether they need an item or not. They are just normal people with bills like the rest of us especially in this economy.

On the subject of being environmentally friendly with your wardrobe, Patagonias worn wear program is excellent! I got a jacket several years ago from it that I absolutely love. They’ll also repair stuff if you mail it in. Kinda like thrifting but it’s all Patagonia so really good quality.

can vouch for the repair program! they patched up one of my winter jackets (I had already gotten second hand from Patagonia), the repair is SEAMLESS and I only had to pay the mailing to get my jacket to them :)

Yeah i feel like he shouldn't do that. They are already on the budget. As long as they don't go over the budget, let them buy whatever they want. But i guess since they're couple it's kinda hard not to give suggestions on how their partner spend money.

There are tactical pants that are all but indestructible, fire resistant, water proof, stab and chew proof for less than some of these items. I'd like to see a standardized Alveus work shirt of a similar material that can stand up to daily animal care. Tactical is a real option. They have shoes that can't be stomped by Stompy or Winnie. Shirts that can't be shredded by kangaroo or McCaw claws.

I also don’t like trying on shoes. In my case it’s because I have extra wide feet so I have problem finding ones that fit because with a lot of shoes are to narrow for me.

I think this is rei? If so im literally wearing pants and shoes from them! Altra has a wide foot hiking boot thats so comfy and the collab rei did with outdoor afro was so sick. I cant afford to get more clothes right now but their stuff is such a nice quality 👌
